Good afternoon:
Kathryn Moore and I are the OHLA co-planners of the Ontario Library
Association (OLA) Super Conference Feb 24 - 27, 2010. This conference is
held annually in Toronto, Ontario and attracts over 4500 people who
participate in almost 350 sessions and events, making it the largest
library education event in Canada! Additional information and the

We have received some session proposals for the OLA Super Conference but
we need more speakers.
This is a second call for speakers who may be interested in the
following sessions below. You may also suggest your own topic.
Session titles marked with an asterix indicate that someone has
volunteered to speak at these sessions.
N.B.: Please note that all OHLA session topics will need to be approved
by the OHLA executive.
Proposed Sessions for OLA Super Conference 2010
* Community of Practice - Solo Librarians/Library workers who
manage more than one site
* Coping skills for turbulent times. Survivor Syndrome and Coping
skills
* Targeting nursing staff (plans and tips on how to increase use
of library services and resources by nursing staff)
* How to prove value added to your hospital/organization
(promotion/advocacy)
* *Expert Pubmed searching
* Design/structure/type of info that hospital libraries have on
their internet/intranet pages
* New patient library services/Group Health Centre - patient info

* MOH Portal - Healthy Ontario, Health Canada, Infoway
* CAMH - mental health, National Resource Project
* Technology trends and updates & keeping up with the web
* *Systematic Reviews
* Loansome Doc
* Docline refresher
* Web 2.0 Courses
If you would like to speak at any of these sessions, or, if you have a
