Bill:
        At Main Street Middle school the PE teacher is using her Palm and her Mac
with eTeacher, a program that allows her to schedule classes with skill
sets and check offs for students who complete them. Similar to the
classroom observation package. She was moving forward with heart rate
monitors via Pasco, but the process was still a bit clunky, so she's using
the wrist watch and will enter by hand into her palm. Later, synching to
her desktop workstation.
        There was an article I just saw in edutopia's fall edition (www.glef.org)
on handhelds and detachable keyboards for language classes in 4th and 5th
grade clasrooms in Omaha. You can visit the teacher's web site at
