One possible cause that no one has mentioned yet is cellphones. I know that if I have my mobile in certain positions on the desk, it will interfere with the mouse whenever it contacts the phone network, and cause the same symptoms that you're seeing. It took me ages to work out what was causing it, and now I just don't keep my phone on the desk :-) > Im startingto think its a > physical problem with the mouse itself, since when I use another mouse > (also an optical mouse of the same exact type) the problem goes away. Problem solved then... just use a different mouse! :-) -Paul ___________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the ResNet-L mailing list.
