First, many thanks to Roger and Bruce for the Brant postings!

I stopped by Shelburne Bay Fishing access early this morning (after 
voting, of course!).  The Brant was still there and is quite tame.  I 
expect it will be minor miracle if it survives the hunting season.  It 
appears to be a young bird, without the white on the neck, yet, perhaps 
explaining it's lack of experience/caution.   Anyhow, I had the camera 
along and was able to get a few shots of the bird.  You can see them here:
