Colleagues:
Has anyone seen a building/roof design guide for fall protection for maintenance activities? This could be anything from window washing to
maintaining green roofs. It would include parapet heights (if to serve as guardrail), anchor placement and load capacity, etc. for scaffolding and
personal fall protection. Might even include fall protection for ships ladders and such.
I thought I might find some guidance on the UK's HSE page given their long history with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, but was not
successful.
Is this type of thing listed in or required by the International Building Code? If yes, where?
Thanks,
d
