Member Profile: Mark Hawley, Alliant Energy
What is your professional history and how did you get to where you are
today?
I have a safety degree from UW-Platteville and went to California
right after graduation. Worked in the oil fields at the Naval
Petroleum Reserves for Bechtel Corporation as an entry level safety
professional and worked my way up to Manager of Environmental, Health
& Safety and Security. At the peak of the oil and gas field, we were
producing 165,000 barrels of oil a day and 300 million cubic feet of
