I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one. Mainly because I don't
believe they will give you permission for the application you want. It
would increase their liability.

I have a question for the list.
On the project I'm currently involved with some tasks require work on
piping
at elevations > 6 feet. We typically use elevated scissor platforms to
access these areas. Workers will use the lift to gain the appropriate
elevation, then tie off to anchors placed above the work and exit the
platform. We were recently informed that Genie specifically prohibits
exiting their elevated platform without "...prior approval in
writing..."
from Genie.
Has anyone on the list successfully received "written permission" from
Genie?
