Given the fact that hands free phones were invented so salesmen could take orders, talk on the phone and drive all at the same time, why should we be surprised that bus drivers have joined the sales force.... oh did we mention the lap top computers in squad cars so in the middle of a high speed chase the officer can run the plate..... No there is no reason to ban cell phones, putting on make up, taking your curlers out, brushing your hair, picking your nose or eating your big mac and driving, there just isn't valid research to show that those activities interfere with the normal unsafe operation of vehicles. If we allow driving to interfere with daily activities from the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and barber shop eventually highways will be safer.... just don't layer on any more unnecessary liberal laws. And with further consideration lets do away with those left wing radical concepts of stop signs, speed limits and other uniform traffic control devices. Sorry folks, it is Friday night ....
