The influx of Northern Pintails in Vermont goes on. I spotted three pintails at Shelburne Bay this afternoon (two males; 1 female). They formed a small group within a larger group of Mallards (55) and American Black Ducks (14). In addition I counted 36 Common Goldeneye, 14 Bufflehead, 8 Lesser Scaup, 4 Common Mergansers, and 14 Canada Geese. No eagles this afternoon somewhat to my surprise. Lots of crows, RB Gulls, and 2 Herring Gulls as usual. Bruce MacPherson South Burlington
