Thanks to everyone who made it to Monday night's meeting. For those of you who
couldn't, here are the highlights:
1. We will be having tons of new recognition this year thanks to VP Melissa
Conly--more info at meetings.
2. Committee signups are beginning. Community council members are welcome and
encouraged to get involved.
3. NEACURH is fast approaching. If you would like to attend, please contact
NCC Melissa Albright.
4. Programs proposed for this semester so far:
Battle of the Bands
Lack of Talent Show
Country Hoedown
International Dance Night
Good Deed Day
Slam Poetry event
UVM Singled Out
If you would like to help plan any of these events, you can contact me or anyone
on the Executive Board.
5. COSPONSORSHIP REQUEST
Joe Thibault, SGA President, came to ask IRA to cosponsor SpringFest, a three
day Festival in April that will feature live big-name bands and local vendors
from the Vermont area. The projected cost is $70,000; we have been asked to
sponsor $35,000. Please contact Joe ([log in to unmask]) if you need any
more information. If you need another copy of the cosponsorship, I can forward
it to you via email.
Finally I would like to extend a big congratulations to MAT for a successful
Superbowl Party, and wish the best of luck to the Harris/Millis community
council in their planning.
Good luck to the rest of you at your first meetings of the semester. I look
forward to seeing you reps (and anyone else who wants to come) this Monday,
2/09, in WDW.
Best regards,
Nicole Ertman
IRA President
