Jess,
Here's a young, female GS/Aussie mix not too far away in CT that I stumbled
upon. In case you can't open it, check petfinder at the Monroe, CT SPCA
shelter. I've see a few crosses of the breeds you list in CT shelters this
week, so you may want to peruse the listings. Good luck!

Thank you Shel.
I know you're right about the over-worked/under-volunteered thing, it's
just
that I sometimes forget about that aspect. And I hadn't considered the
pre-approved waiting list idea, but it would make sense.
I live in Massachusetts and my last dog was a German Shepherd/Australian
Shepherd mix I'm not sure if there's a high demand for that type of dog,
but she
had the best temperament and she was so smart. I would love to find another
cross like her, but meanwhile I've been looking for any crosses between:
Australian Shepherds, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers and Collies.
Again, thanks for your help.
Jess
