You sound alot like many who are breeding  for the right reasons. Our Laddie
is also the first dog we have owned that we have even considered, using as a
"stud" dog that is because from evidence gathered so far, he is worthy of
contributing his collie genes back into the gene pool. If anthing ever came
up contrary to this he would be neutered dispite the desire to have a "puppy
from him:.
