Dogs sure are versatile! I met one named Dogstar a couple years back who
had lost use of his hind legs due to paralysis and walked around bipedal on
his front legs, and nope, the hind end didn't drag at all - it was held
perfectly horizontal. He could do just about anything the other dogs did -
run, go up stairs, balance on logs. It is true, once you get used to the
dog's oddities, you hardly even notice they're unusual!
