Hi Elaine,
I re-visited the link in today's Digest that you listed, about the Tennessee
dogs, and noticed it referred to Central TN, which is more or less the area
I am in. Do you know if a town was ever mentioned, more specific than just
middle TN? (Don't know why I ever noticed that before, guess I was
scanning for other information at the time). I still have a tiny hope in
the back of my head of finding some dogs that were close kin to my Buddy
(who has been gone a year this month). Duncan (out of Sheryl's Lily x
Banjo) is turning out to be the smartest dog I have had. Very eager to
please, knows by my face & tone he has been naughty, and he usually does not
repeat the offense. He was completely housetrained within having him a
month, so he was about 3 months old. Easiest housetraining I ever did. I
checked today about signing up for training classes, but will have to wait
until March. My mom and dad have Duncan's brother, the tri-color male,
King. They love him more and more each day, are amazed at his intelligence.
Sherry and "little" Duncan
(little in age, not size, 50 lb. at 6 months!
But not fat, just big! King is close behind at 45lb.)
