Hi folks,
I'm new to the farm collie list. Long story short, I wound up here by
writing to a few people I'd read on the archives, trying to find out if my Ginger
was an English Shepherd as I thought she was. I have her pic posted here on
my webpage along with my other two dogs (Mocha - an aussie with a tail, and
Rusty - a malinois with no ball drive.. haha).
Ginger's pics are here

Rini is right about Sadie, you just cannot save everything. All three of
mine are from the shelter where I worked. I'm sure there are tons right there
in Texas literally dying for a home. I know there sure are in TN. In our
more rural areas, herding dogs, labs, and beagles are the number one breeds we
take in - in DROVES. I joke with my ex-boss at the shelter (I'm retired),
that there's a lab or 30 on every front porch in TN.
Now that being said, we also have a border collie at our shelter here in
Middle TN in need of a home. His name is Alex, he's 2 yrs old and his adoption
fee includes his neuter and first round of shots (but not Rabies). You can
find his pic at
