When I was 5 or 6, my dad brought home 2 pups from the same litter.
Both were mostly black with a little white. One was long haired and the
other short. The long haired one had a black blotch on its tongue. I
gave that pup to a friend, and Dad gave the other one to a friend of
his. Dad's friend kept that dog till the dog died of old age, many,
many years later. They were a perfect match.
