You go the the universities website, put in your addy and how many test
packs you want (we sent in 5, 3 mine , 2 clients for a discount) - they send
them to you in the mail for free.
It is $52 per individual as a group of 5, like $10 more or so for less than
5 dogs sent in. So you might get a group together of a couple people to
send in the same envelope. Cheek swabbing - so non-invasive do it yourself.
So, for me, not cost prohibitive, since you don't have a vet visit tacked
on.
Well worth knowing for the safety of the dogs in general, and for breeding
programs, cause lord knows, you don't need to be breeding dogs that have
sensitivity to so many drugs - heartworm especially.
