I think you could do this.  The dog will be able to distinguish which parts 
he wants to eat and which not.  There would be more blood though.  On 
butchering day at my place, all the dogs get tossed feet, the first joint of 
the wing (we skin instead of pluck) and the hearts, livers etc...after 
they've had their fill the rest gets bagged up and frozen to be divvied out 
at a later date.  Holly likes to help herself to the bucket of entrails 
until I burn it.  None of them like the skin.  When feeding the wings (with 
feathers) they pluck them and spit the feathers out first.  Keeps 'em busy 
;-) but my yard looks a mess!
