I have no idea how we ever got along without Shannon. Today my mom went out
& when she came home Shannon was outside so she barked at her & then rushed
to be let in so she could meet mom at the front door, I opened it for her &
we waited a long time, Shannon barking & lunging at the door periodically &
looking through the glass. Well mom didn't come in the front door she came
in the gate & went into the backyard to talk to my dad so Shannon had to go
back outside to jump on mom, bark at her for not coming in the front door,
run circles around her & jump on my dad for good measure. She did a lot of
what I call bitch barking for at least the next 30 minutes, really shrill
barking, mom thought she was 'singing' by barking but she doesn't really
bark when she sings she howls, so she was still chewing mom out for all her
bad deeds. She also doesn't raid the trash cans, I can still remember
coming home a few times & the livingroom looked like a snowstorm because
Sydney the Setter had raided the bathroom trash because she didn't like
being left alone with only my dad & I always had to clean it up.
