Happy New Year Everyone,
I have a tough case that I need help with for fostering. NESR has been
contacted by a 17 yr old girl (I will call her J) in the Philadelphia PA
area. She has two, 4 yr old male, littermates. It appears to NESR that J
is a pretty responsible and resourceful young women who would like to keep
her dogs (I get the impression they are the most stable part of her life).
Her parents have divorced and she is living with a sister and BIL that are
not much older than she is, who can't have pets in their rented home. Right
now Dad is keeping the dogs but wants them out ASAP.
J will be finished with high school the end of May and has already begun
searching for a job that will go from part time to full time to support
herself and her dogs. She is asking us to help her find two foster homes
for them until she graduates. NESR is in the process of getting a
temperament test done of these dogs.
If you feel you might be able to foster one of these dogs for Jocelyn until
June, please contact me.
