Hello, My name is Jeanne Joy Hartnagle-Taylor. I come from a ranching family
who are probably best known for raising and training Australian Shepherds.

I'm currently working on a book, The Herding Dog Bible, The Ultimate Stockdog
Guide for Herding Dogs (or similar title).

I want to include breed profiles that represent each breed from a working
standpoint. In order to do that I am inviting input from the people who actually
work them on livestock.

I will include topics such as: genetic disorders known in the breed that
may interfere or partially interfere with the dog's ability to function as a
working dog, development as a herding dog, working style (eye -- degree of),
trainability, coat type and care, etc.

Anyone interested in contributing their observations on Farm Collies you can e-
mail me at [log in to unmask] Please just include Farm Collie in the
Subject line.

Kind Regards,
Jeanne Joy
