Yes, please, by all means, cross-post this far and wide. I actually 
forwarded it off another list. The more people this can reach, the 
better.

I show in AKC obedience and agility. I know a lot of people that also 
show in AKC conformation. There is a big cluster of dogs shows held 
yearly in Louisville, Ky. Some of my friends are boycotting the shows 
altogether while others plan on attending the shows but will stay in 
hotels and eat in restaurants outside of Louisville. They don't want to 
hurt the show hosting clubs, who have already secured the site, judges, 
trophies, etc. They just don't want their money to go towards supporting 
the Louisville Goverment or risk someone complaining about their dogs in 
a Louisville hotel.

As the article stated, if this can happen there, it can happen 
anywhere!
