I sent this to PERCOL, but thought I should post it here, too:
A friend has just sent me an article from the March/April 1997 issue of
International Wildlife magazine. It is about wolves in Spain and includes
several nice color photos. One of the photos is of a sheep flock grazing in
the countryside -- in the foreground is a large guardian dog walking among
the sheep, while the shepherd stands in the background with his dogs, two
sable Rough Collies! Both are prick-eared, one has what appears to be a nice
moderate head, the other has more of a narrower, two-angled head; both seem
to be of a rather tall, narrow build. Nothing in the text refers to them,
they're just standing in the background of a picture. I think this magazine
is available in many libraries, so it may not be too hard to track down.
