 great picture. If I saw Bob in a shelter now I'd say "what a lovely collie
cross" - it's amazing how much the breed has changed.

        I got a copy of the "Lassie, the first 50 years"  and it's got a
photo of Toots (Eric Knight's own collie). From that photo I wouldn't have
recognized Toots as a collie at all - a collie type dog yes, a cross or a
BC or ES but not a collie.

        Speaking of old photos - Gina, did you see the web page for Kathy
Tesarz's early 60's ES? It's at:
http://www.uvm.edu/~jhilborn/wagsandlady.html. When you get a chance can
you grab the pictures off my page and put them on the photo album page? I'm
running out of server room here on "zoo".
