Do any of these sources talk about diet and its connection with genetic
disorders (like hip and eye problems)?  I read a reference to this in the
Herbal Handbook for Farm and Stable and was intrigued.  The author claims
success with BC's in the U.K. with eye disorders in the line, but she doesn't
give many details.  I would love to find out more about this.  We have done a
lot in treating so-called "untreatable" conditions in our dairy goats by
changing our management style and their diet.  We would like to investigate
the possibilities of doing the same things for potential problems in our dogs.
