<< My dad is retired and if I keep them at my moms
house, he could watch them in the day when I go to work.
That would work great, have you let dad know he'll soon be un-retired?
I used a playpen once but my pups chewed right through it and I even had a
couple actually climb out of, actually they learned really fast that the gate
and x-pen can be climbed.
You said this male was bought from the same place as Chelsy, is there any way
of finding out from the person who sold them if they are related in any way?
Even if they would give you the name of the breeder, you may be able to find
out more about their sire/dam.
Also you will want to bring Chelsey in for a vet check, emphasis on the
gentital area, check for infectious diseases, and that she is in optimal
health, also be sure to screen for genetic problems before breeding, and start
lining up homes for the puppies now.
There are some great books on dog breeding, most of these are available
through the library, check them out, they will be very helpful to you.
