        Welcome to the list. There are still collies like your one from
long ago but they sure are hard to find. In the ES rescue site, at the very
top, is a link to lost dogs - there are two collies who are very old
fashioned looking. The first one is definitly a purebred collie, the second
the owner wasn't sure. But they are good examples of the old fashioned
collie. Plus, there are folks on this list with old fashioned collies.
        And Laura, up in Vermont, breeds collies and aussies together to
get that old fashioned dog.

        So, anyway, you and your aussie and your memories of your collie
are in good company here -
