[Kay Lytle]  I use the pill Program.  It has worked perfectly for us.  I
don't think it's advirtised for ticks, but noticed that at best she will
have maybe 3 ticks a year.  We live out in the country & our dogs of the
past (before the Program pill was out) were miserable from ticks - we'd pull
over a hundred every other day (per dog).  And this was with all the dips,
powders, collars, & yard sprays available!

Now, I take Hidi hiking, herding, & just playing out in all kinds of scrub
brush & pastures.  She just never has ticks.  We visit lots of places & not
all dogs around us are flea free, but she never has them.

The pill is given once a month.  I get the one by Sentiennel (sp?) that is a
heartworm, flea pill combo.
