This was on another list I am on and it seems like an issue that would be
pretty "hot" among us, so I thought I'd pass it on.

<<Flying With Pets: An ABC Survey

On the ABC news web site, there is a survey currently being taken
as to whether pets should be allowed to fly in the passenger
compartment of  airplanes.  At the moment, more than 8900 votes have
been
recorded and the result is about 77.5% "YES".

Some airlines are considering plans to force all dogs to fly
as baggage or cargo.  Results of this survey might influence them.

This is at www.abcnews.com, then go to the travel section.  The
column is called something like "the crabby traveler".
