>I am curious about black and tan in Collies, as well.  I have never seen
one, but would love to.  I have seen one black and tan Border Collie, but
only one.  He was purebred from tri parents.  He did have a spot of white on
the chest, and a few hairs making a  slightly white tipped tail.
