> Wyn is classic farm collie. There are pictures of him on the
>ES rescue web page and different pictures and more info about him on the
>BC rescue page. Collie rescue won't help him because he's not a known
>purebred and doesn't look like modern collies.
I've written to Becca offering to help - I don't have a foster at the
moment and he sounds like a nice, easygoing guy. He is very handsome -
pictures are up at www.cbcr.org/available. Check out the white BC with
blue eyes! If anyone can help with transportation, I'd really
appreciate it - I'm in Maryland, and Wyn is in SC - it's about 350 miles.
Wyn sounds like a wonderful dog, and from looking at his pictures, I
think he would certainly count as a CVC.
I think the local SC rescue people are swamped about now - oddly
enough MD is very quiet - the only rescue dogs I know of are in Baltimore
and Virginia... my last two dogs were a farm collie lookalike (probably
with some retriever in there) and a smooth-coated collie cross. Perhaps
I should be billing my self as "sorta-collie rescue"? : )
