He's not fixed but he hasn't been used for breeding yet. I waffle
a lot on the whole breeding idea. I want to keep both ES and farmcollies
alive as real, viable populations but I also am very involved in rescue and
I daily see dog, or pictures of dogs, who will be dead in a week for lack
of a home. With 10 million dogs a year being killed I balk every time I
start thinking about breeding.
On the other hand, I personally want dogs with Quinn's brains and
temperment around. They aren't right for the casual suburban home but they
are the right dog for my life.
I have my eye on a pup from a as yet unborn litter who I hope will
grow up to be a good compliment to Quinn... but that's a crapshoot and pups
from that possible breeding are probably three years down the pike.
