Hi Farm Colliers,
 Well , Pappy, my 3 yr. old sable smoothie went to a pro groomer for the
first time yesterday. What a crack-up! The groomer had lots of kittens which
are pappy`s fav animal on earth. He was having so much fun checking them
out! WShe did such a nice job. Was he proud when i picked him up. The
groomer had put a red ribbon on his collar whichw e all made much of. Pappy
thinks all this attention is great! especially all the hugs he`s getting
becuase his coat has that soft, good-smelling "just washed" scent.
 Chancy, our 3 yr. old rough sable boy,  goes today. That should be really
fun. He is one of the most vain collies on earth!  I think that song was
written about him.  Also carries tons of a a terribly incorrect coat with a
pelt like a sheep. In the summer, there`s nothing for it but to trim him
down to a 1 1/2 inch puppy clip. Chancy came as a pet from a  major national
kennel. Oh well...'nough said. I told the groomer, if you can`t groom it,
clipper it. We`ll see how much coat he has when he gets home, grin.
 Chancy`s kinda stupid anyway, but he makes a great rug when your toes are
cold! grin.
