This just came  across the rescue list:

 In the local Pasadena, TX paper there was an ad for a free to
good home black/white Collie due to give birth to mixed breed pups within a
month.  GRRRRR!!!!!

there was no more info than that. My guess is, if it is a B&W collie then
it's a Border Collie but one never knows I suppose.
