Hey, Elaine...I have a friend that lives in Show Low and I would love it if
you could get out the phone book and look her or her mom up for me.

Their last name is Lawrence.  My friend's name is Jennifer but she married
and I am not sure what her new name is...maybe Davis???  She was my roommate
all through my Army time and I'd love to get in touch.  If you call her mom
and tell her it's Lisa (Kilgore) from the Army, she'd give you the number.

Their family raise running quarter horses.  I went to the track while I was
there and won 75 bucks after I bet one dollar on a long shot grey horse.

Oh, btw, Show Low is where I ate some bad quesadillas at a restaurant and
then proceeded to get sick right as we started through a sightseeing drive
in Salt River Canyon.

For those of you that aren't familiar with that particular canyon, first of
all it's very beautiful.  Secondly, there's up cliffs on one side and down
cliffs on the other and no washrooms or places to pull over for about 60
miles.

Not a good thing when you are sick out both ends from green chili
quesadillas.  TWO of us in the car (the only two who ate that precise
entree) got sick at the same time.
