Well...I contacted Cascade Collie Rescue this morning to see about helping them
with fostering and etc. I sent Linda Arnett at CCR a link to my website, and
after she looked at my site, she said that she had had many inquiries regarding
Rusty, the old fashioned collie who was available through their rescue, from
people who had seen him on my site! (And I only put him on there after I heard
about him on this list!) And after being in foster care since November 12th,
Rusty found a home up on Vancouver Island! I don't know whether the person who
ended up adopting Rusty found him through my website or not, but I was
gratified to hear that at least some people saw him there. And now he has a new
home! Yay! :)
So I guess the lesson here is that people ARE looking at your website, whether
you realize it or not. LOL.
