jan, You asked a while back if anyone was working toward old farm collies from within the Sheltie breed. There is a fellow FOFC person in Castleton VT named Erin Traverse. Erin breeds Shelties and I think herds with them; I'm not sure if he is intending to breed them toward old farm collie ideals, but it would be interesting to know what his goals are in that regard. He raises several different kinds of Scottish livestock and chicken breeds, as part of a Scottish heritage farm (a demonstration farm open to the public, I think). Gina [log in to unmask]
