" A Canine Companion for a Nursery-Reared Infant Chimpanzee", by M. A.
Thompson,M. A. Bloomsmith, & L. L. Taylor...... 1

Never know what the web will turn up. In searching for info on an
anti-diarrhea drug (yes Tracy is still sick), ran across this site. I
didn't even search on "collie", and turns out the canine companion is
"a female collie-cross which has been used as a companion for
nursery-reared infants at the facility for five years."

Interesting info about dogs being used to help raise primate infants
that have to be raised without their moms for some reason. In this
study, the infant's mother was abusing the infant (?). Okay this is
ultimately probably depressing because heaven knows what these babies
are used for when they grow up but this study is really interesting in
and of itself.
