<> Jan, Try this url http://home.att.net/~radandred/availabledogs.html There is a link "Dogs available for adoption" or something like that on the web address I posted before, but this url will take you to Ebony's pic directly, at the bottom of the page. That is sad about the hw positive little sheltie and nice of border collie rescue to take him in (surprised sheltie rescue didn't take him. ASSA has a nat'l well-funded network of rescues.) The BC Rescue page is very well done and well organized, and I see you've made additions and improvements to the ES page since I was there last. Yes, the bi-color gene has always been preserved within the sheltie breed, and is alive and well there! I do many pedigrees on bi-blacks and bi-blues, many champions. (The sheltie breed's perversity is the discrimination against color-marked white, altho a faction within the breed is opposed to this ruling and would like to restore white as an acceptable color.) Do you happen to know of Meg Walker's whereabouts and/or current email address??? Gina, are you there? Would you happen to know? There is a small army of collie and sheltie people who would like to contact her! Don't worry, they are all fans of Smoke and Angel Feather <G> Thanks in advance!
