Quickie for itching and chewing, used tea bags, soak in warm water and dab liberally on the spots, amazing results, the tannic acid in the tea cools and soothes. This isn't a cure-all, just help until you can get them something more long term. Also, vinegar poured on the spots will often stop itching and soothes. There has got to be a reason they are both itching, though, you need to check thoroughly. Allergy to something blooming? Sprays or chemicals used recently.
