Ken,
We've been using Xerox Docuprint N2125 printers (not color) here for a
while and they are workhorses......we have them in high volume use
areas. The only trouble is that as they have aged and things go wrong
there are no local vendors who work on them so you have to ship them
elsewhere (out of state) to get them worked on. As a result of this we
are slowly migrating to HP printers.
Other schools in our district use Lexmark c572ln color laser and it
costs around $1500.

We are in the process of centralizing printing. We are looking for a
network
color printer (hopefully around $1,000). I am particularly fascinated
by the
solid ink Xerox Phaser. If you have experience, comments, suggestions
on this or
other printers please respond.

Thanks

Ken
