The Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the Universal Service
Administrative Company (or USAC, for those of you keeping track of the
acronyms) has announced it will not issue a wave of funding commitment
letters this week. Kate L. Moore, SLD President, stated the SLD will resume
weekly wave notifications next week (October 8-14) on the normal schedule,
and they expect to issue several more waves in the coming weeks prior to
completion of year three funding.
