We have been using Adelphia's PowerLink in both of our schools for the last
several years, and with the exception of the occasional "blips" mentioned we
have had good success and no bandwidth issues. Our Middle school often has
up to 40 concurrent connections through the one modem, and then we begin to
notice a drop-off...
"Residential" class service is FREE (I don't have stats on speed), but they
want $$ for an upgrade to "Business" class ($80/Month?), which would include
a static IP and faster connection.
Did I mention it's FREE? A good option for smaller schools in range of
Adelphia.
