Bob,
TCP/IP on 2000 Pro workstations resolves with all DNS servers at the same time. If you inside DNS and your outside DNS are different it can cause problems. You didn't mention if you were using DHCP or NAT. Try setting one up with only the inside DNS and see if it works.

Hi All,
Now that no one is in the building I get to work on some problems.
We are running an NT 4.0 server with MS Proxy 2.0. We are not able to send or receive email from a Windows 2000 client. We can't ping to any address outside the server. The browser works fine through the proxy. All of our Win 98 clients can send mail through the server.
I'm trying to determine if this is a workstation problem or a proxy server problem. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks,
Bob Owens
