I agree with many of the comments concerning Non-educators in their
current positions. Many of the tasks we do do not need an educational
background.
I'm looking at this from the other point of view: Some of us out here
ARE educators. We face a set of rules that require us to do
professional development in our license area in order to re-new our
licenses every 7 years. My problem is how do I justify maintaining my
social studies license when what I need is TCP/IP course work?
Some of us are on 'professional' or 'certified' contracts. Without an
option for us we could lose our license and NOT be eligible for renewal
of our contracts....
My concern revolves around 'grandfathering' myself into the new
licensure....
