All,

I know very little about firewalls. I know what they do and I know
they range between $300 - $30,000+. I would like to get an idea of
what other schools in VT have been purchasing for firewalls. I know
some of you fanatics out there set up your own linux boxes and save
thousands of dollars but I like the idea of getting a firewall in a
box. Any help on this subject would be appreciated. I would say our
budget is somewhere between $0 - $3,000. I'm looking for a product to
simply block traffic - no virus protection (unless it is between that
range with no yearly subscription :)  ).
