Hi all -

We want to provide some information about "who's doing what" (or planning
to) with filtering, so VISMT has created a brief (1-page), online survey for
people in Vermont's (and elsewhere) schools. The data will be posted &
updated daily on the VISMT website in a searchable form (see the link below)
for all of you to use.

The survey can be found at:
http://www.vismt.org/filters/internet_filters.cfm and is up and running now.

While the future of this filtering issue is unclear because of pending
lawsuits and a lack of clarity regarding the rules of implementation, we are
posting the survey now in order to give you some early resources.

The survey, searchable results of the survey, and other filtering
information and links will be available at VISMT's Information Technology
site very early next week at:
http://www.vismt.org/programs/infotech/index.htm. Click on the "Filtering"
link on the left and you'll get the filtering pages.
