We are researching options for a cafeteria point-of-sale system for three schools.  An example is a system that could read student cards and tab meals much like a debit card.  We would prefer to have the system run from a single server over a WAN that is connected with T1 circuits.

-  Do you have a system that you would recommend, or would not recommend?

-  What is your experience is running multiple schools on the same system, if any?
