I am seeing more and more online email addresses in this format..
name at hotmail dot com
Or something in text form like that.. This would not really be
applicable in a directory, but with those one shot email addresses you
might put at the end of an announcement.
Spam-bots can't search the web for address that way..

Milton does the same thing. Instead of placing the actual email address
on the web page, we place a listing of the faculty and then provide the
formula used to create their email address. This has definitely helped
with reducing the amount of spam emails to our users.
