already, you can go to the download page directly via this link

According to the README, the only change from 1.43 to 1.44 was a fix for
the GPIB driver. Doesn't mean that's all that got changed, for better or
for worse. Any reason to avoid 1.44?

Also, general question, if I don't have SP2 installed, can I use 1.44?
